Pipe
We offer premuim quality drill pipe in standard and reverse circulation type connections. Proir to assembly, each joint are machined from high strength steel alloy rich in nickel, chrome and molybdemum, and of meduim-low carbon content, are heated to 1,700 degree oven with high carbon atmosphere for 12 hours. The portion of each joint to be welded to the drill pipe is masked off, prior to the heating process, leaving a low carbon content for a more reliable weld than traditional 4140 steel. The result of heat treating (carburizing) is a .035" file hard surface and a tough core. #Back to Menu |
